Workshops

There will be a series of hands-on workshops during the days after the symposium, where the participants will have the opportunity to experience the Open Design practice on the example of some of the projects presented at the symposium. The workshops will be organized in collaboration with the Liwoli festival, which has been promoting the principles of Open Design and Collaboration in Media Art for several years in Linz. Liwoli is a community festival, open lab and annual meeting spot for artists, educators and developers using and creating Free Software (FLOSS), Open Hardware and Open Design in the artistic and cultural context. The event is all about sharing artistic skills, code and knowledge within the public domain and discussing the challenges of an open practice.
