The Tangible Music Group is an artistic research team within the Interface Culture Programme at the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria. Led by Univ.-Prof. Martin Kaltenbrunner the group experimentally explores the artistic aspects of human machine interaction.
We primarily but not exclusively develop novel musical interfaces with a focus on tangible interaction design, which are generally evaluated in direct artistic practice. Most of our instrument hardware and software components are made available as Open Design tools, in order to contribute to the further development in these research fields.
